Marina Abramović in Istanbul

Akış/Flux, the first large-scale retrospective exhibition of one of the pioneers of performance art, Marina Abramović, consists of video and photograph documentation of the artist’s performances and a live performance developed with artists invited to the project. The Sakıp Sabancı Museum and Akbank will be hosting this special exhibition that includes documentaries approaching the works of Abramović in a historical context, and works and documentations on loan from private collections.

Naum Gabo at Tate Modern 

The exhibition carrying the name of the artist Naum Gabo, one of the important figures of Russia’s post-Revolutionary avant-garde art movements and founder of kinetic art, is on display at Tate Modern. At the United Kingdom’s first large-scale exhibition of his work for over 30 years, the artist’s sculptures, paintings, drawings, and architectural designs will be presented to audiences.
