As the airline that flies to more countries than any other airline in the world, Turkish Airlines will be connecting 26 international cities with direct flights to Antalya, Izmir, Dalaman, and Bodrum during the summer of 2020.

Turkish Airlines greatly contributed to the country’s tourism with a record number of tourists visiting Turkey in 2019, and will be increasing its weekly frequency of direct flights from international destinations to Turkey’s tourism centers by 18%.

Commenting on the “Direct Tourism Endeavor” protocol signed between Turkish Airlines and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2018, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee M. Ilker Aycı said, “This endeavor, the ‘Direct Tourism’ protocol we signed with our Ministry of Culture and Tourism two years ago, opened new ways for our international guests to discover our national treasures as well. We carry our guests to heavenly holiday spots in a few hours especially if they are coming from Europe or the Middle East. With the contributions of our new strategy, our country hosted a record number of tourists last year. We are committed to continuing and increasing our contributions to our country’s tourism sector and its economy. We believe that our new flights will be carrying new tourists and new records on their wings as well.”

London, Moscow, Kuwait, Amman, Kiev, Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, and Hamburg are among the 26 international destinations that Turkish Airlines will be connecting with direct flights to Izmir, Dalaman, and Bodrum. Turkish Airlines will be operating 74 flights weekly from 20 destinations to Antalya, the tourism center that is welcoming summer 2020 as the “Year of Patara.”
