Colorful Carnival in Adana

One of the true gems of Turkey with its rich history, a nature that is enticing all year round, a unique gastronomy culture, and hospitable and sympathetic people, Adana hosts the International Orange Blossom Carnival in April. The event which presents colorful sceneries on the streets of Adana, will be held for the 8th time between April 3 and12 this year. The parade of the carnival which hosts every year thousands of visitors in Adana when the orange trees blossom and give off their impressive scents to the streets will take place on April 4.

Ice cream Festival in Maraş 

Maraş ice cream is on the world stage for the third time. The International Ice Cream Festival aims to introduce Kahramanmaraş's cultural heritage and gastronomy, an important part of this heritage, to the world. At the festival, which will continue for four days, academic workshops, symposiums, competitions, and many surprise events will be organized.

Film and Music Festival in Boston

With Turkish Airlines as one of its main sponsors, the Boston Turkish Film and Music Festival starts on March 19. The 19th edition of the festival continues the tradition of highlighting contemporary Turkish cinema by master and emerging filmmakers and notable musicians.               

Antalya Diplomacy Forum

The theme of the first Antalya Diplomacy Forum where leaders, politicians, academics, and opinion leaders will come together and address regional and global issues with a visionary perspective is “Diplomacy in the Digital Age.” Participants will have the opportunity to listen to the views and ideas of distinguished speakers in the main sessions, and discuss regional and international issues in the breakout sessions. At the event, speakers will focus on topics including the role of diplomacy in resolving international issues, the effects of the advance of technology on diplomacy, and the potential of digital developments in creating global opportunities.

Global Gastroeconomy Summit

The third Global Gastroeconomy Summit aims at branding Turkish cuisine, restaurants, and food produce, and turning these into high-yielding export products. The summit that contributes to the growth of Turkey’s economy and the diversification in tourism components, will be held at the IIstanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) on March 25. At the same time, the summit highlights the growing importance of gastronomy for locals, and showcases the interconnectedness of gastronomical networks. Leaders in their own sectors including Bill Knot, Jonathan Doughty and Katharina Unger will be participating as speakers at the event sponsored by Turkish Airlines.  

Young Talents Meet with Companies

The “Talent Is Everywhere” career fairs organized by the Turkish Republic Presidential Human Resources Office offer equality of opportunity to the university youth, and began on February 24 in Edirne. The event that will continue in different cities until April 21 is organized in 10 regions with the collaboration of 130 universities. While students and graduates get the chance to participate in company presentations, interviews, case studies, and workshops, they can also make job and apprenticeship applications.

Another event organized by the Human Resources Office, "TalentforBIZ," brings together valuable brands from our country and talents from across the world.
The career fair that began on February 15 in Uzbekistan will be hosted in 8 different countries until August 8. In addition to accepting job/apprenticeship applications and holding interviews, the briefing sessions and meetings give Turkish institutions and organizations the opportunity to promote their companies and our country to young, talented individuals.
