Turkish Airlines, with its new airport and new cabin design, was selected “Europe’s Best Design Airline” at the TheDesignAir Awards, which recognize creativity and innovation in aviation.

Prior to the move to its new home, Turkish Airlines approached Istanbul Airport with the aim of providing its guests a stress-free, comfortable, and personalized service, and designed 18 different customer contact points in 40 different regions according to the locations’ different needs from the terminal entrance to check-in, boarding to baggage claim.
The global carrier combined this move with new Economy and Business seats, lighting options and renewed in-plane products in the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner that just joined the company’s fleet and in the Airbus A350-900 that will be joining its fleet. Turkish Airlines has turned travel into an enjoyable opportunity for its guests.
This holistic travel experience has been awarded by TheDesignAir, an important indicator for airlines for the past seven years. According to the experts in the field, the evaluation of frequent flyers, and the general vote results, Turkish Airlines was selected “Europe’s Best Design Airline.”
