Stories from Ottoman Manuscripts

The exhibition Memories of Humankind: Stories from the Ottoman Manuscripts presents a special selection from the Istanbul Research Institute’s manuscript collection, and takes visitors on a journey of texts, objects, and periods. The exhibition brings to the fore the culture of manuscripts, which changed over time, and opens up debates on the dynamics of this multifaceted cultural heritage and on topics including multilingualism, daily life, and medical sciences.

Efes Art Days
This year, Efes Art Days that brings together art galleries and artists will be organized for the 6th time. At the event that will include Galeria Joan Gaspar’s Picasso and Miro works from Spain, art galleries from around the world representing more than 60 artists joins more than 300 works together with art lovers.
 
Pursuing Time
Day Imprint, the first solo exhibition at Gallery x-ist by photography artist Aydın Berk Bilgin presents visitors with the results of the artist’s experimental art project that took seven years to complete. Bilgin placed pinhole cameras that he made from tin cans in public places and set their exposures to days, months, and years. The project aims to visualize the concept of time.
