Turkish Airlines, the export champion of Turkey, received the Passenger Transportation Services Award.

The Services Exporters Meeting and 2018 Service Exporters’ Association Award Ceremony  took place at the Istanbul Congress Center with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Minister of Labor and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, and many other bureaucrats and businesspeople. 

President Erdoğan, who gave a speech at the ceremony, stated that Turkey’s geographical position and opportunities give the country an advantage in exports, and that, therefore, the association has to work on leading diverse service exports and markets, on opening new markets, and on developing existing ones.

The awards in 17 categories of service exports and one special category were personally presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Turkish Airlines received an award in the category of “Passenger Transportation Services” and Turkish Technic received an award in “Maintenance and Repair Services.”
