While Turkish Airlines Women’s Volleyball Team became the Balkan champion by defeating the Serbian team OK Zeleznicar Lajkovac in the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) Cup final, our team also qualified to represent Turkey in the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Challenge Cup.
Turkish Airlines Women’s Volleyball Team played against
the Serbian team OK Zeleznicar Lajkovac in the 2019 Women’s BVA Cup, hosted by
the Turkish Airlines Sport Club, and won the cup defeating their opponents 3-0
with 25-15, 25-19, and 25-22 sets.
At the ceremony
held at the TVF Burhan Felek Sport Hall, the champions Turkish Airlines Women’s
Volleyball Team received the cup and medals from Turkish Airlines Chairman of
the Board and the Executive Committee M. İlker Aycı and Chairman of the Turkish
Volleyball Federation (TVF) Mehmet Akif Üstündağ.
Turkish Airlines
Women’s Volleyball Team that won the Balkan championship in the first year of
the tournament, and with this success qualified to represent Turkey in the 2019
CEV Challenge Cup. Our team will be playing against the Hungarian team
MCM-Diamant KE in the qualifying round of the 2019 CEV Challenge Cup. The first
matches in the CEV Challenge Cup Qualifying Round will be played on November
5-7, 2019, and the playoff matches will be played on November 19-21, 2019
