Turkish Airlines and Bangkok Airways announced a new codeshare partnership that will offer more convenient flight connections on Thailand domestic flights and to other destinations in Southeast Asia.

This codesharing agreement includes 16 domestic and international destinations currently operated by Bangkok Airways.

Turkish Airlines General Manager Bilal Ekşi commented on the agreement by saying, “We are delighted to strengthen our long-lasting cooperation even further with this codeshare agreement. As one of the most important gateways to Asia Pacific in the region, our passengers will enjoy greater convenience when connecting to popular Thailand domestic destinations as well as other neighboring, exciting travel destinations via Bangkok.” Chairman of Bangkok Airways Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth said, “Bangkok Airways is very pleased to work with Turkish Airlines, a leading international airline, as a codeshare partner to strengthen our respective route networks. This will offer business and leisure travelers enhanced connectivity and seamless access while traveling in Thailand and our neighboring countries. Moreover, Turkish Airlines’ passengers traveling on Bangkok Airways will enjoy the boutique airline’s services such as lounge access and in-flight services.”
