Turkish Airlines, the airline that is flying to more countries  than any other airline in the world, added Port Harcourt, one of Nigeria’s main cities, to its flight network as its 56th destination in Africa.

Turkish Airlines increased its flight network to 311 destinations worldwide with Port Harcourt following the cities of Lagos, Kano, and Abuja in Nigeria, and is maintaining its leadership as the airline that flies to more destinations than any other airline on the African continent.

Speaking in the press conference held at the Port Harcourt International Airport on the occasion of the launch of the Port Harcourt route, Turkish Airlines SVP Sales (2nd Region) Kerem Sarp said, “By launching our flights to Port Harcourt, we have added yet another destination to Turkish Airlines’ mission of growth in Africa. With Port Harcourt, our fourth flight destination in Nigeria, we are continuing to fulfil our task as a bridge between cultures. We are delighted to be adding Port Harcourt to our flight network and offering our passengers the flight experience with the privileges of Turkish Airlines.”

The flag carrier will operate round-trip direct flights from Istanbul Airport to Port Harcourt four days a week.
