Turkish Airlines has expanded the content of the existing codeshare agreement with LOT Airlines, Poland’s largest airline company and flag carrier, by adding new joint routes.

With the new agreement, Turkish Airlines and LOT Airlines, in addition to the existing Istanbul-Warsaw route, on flights Warsaw to ; Krakow, Gdansk, Szczecin, Poznan, Wroclaw, Katowice, Rzeszow; from Istanbul to Ankara - Bahrain, Izmir - Beirut, Adana - Baghdad, Antalya - Dubai, Dalaman - Kuwait, Amman - Budapest, Cairo - Johannesburg one airline can use the flight code of the other on a mutual basis.  
Speaking about expanding the existing agreement, Turkish Airlines General Manager Bilal Ekşi said, “We have been in cooperation with LOT Airlines for a long time. After the agreement, our passengers on joint flights will be able to benefit from more flight alternatives in Poland, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa, and increase their flight comfort.”  Rafal Milczarski, CEO & President of the Management Board of LOT Airlines, said, “In addition to LOT Airlines expanding its flight network and offering passengers more attractive destinations, our cooperation with Turkish Airlines will increase the connections not only with Istanbul that is included in the agreement, but also destinations like Ankara, Cairo and Amman.”
