The IATA Cabin Operations Safety Conference hosted by Turkish Airlines, addressed the most important and current topics concerning safety in the civil aviation industry.

This year, the Cabin Safety Operations Conference, first launched by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 2014 and hosted regularly every year by an airline sponsor, was held in Istanbul sponsored by Turkish Airlines.   
Almost 500 cabin safety experts representing airlines, civil aviation authorities, manufacturers, and suppliers from all over the world attended the conference launched with the opening speech by Turkish Airlines Chairman&CEO M. İlker Aycı.
He began his speech by saying, “Our main priority is ensuring that guests welcomed on our flights feel safe throughout their entire journey. In addition to the training and professionalism of our cabin teams in this respect, as a sector it is also extremely important to share experiences.” Aycı went on to emphasize the fact that the concept of safety is always a priority in the civil aviation sector, and that the cabin teams sharing their experiences on the topic is a significant gain for the entire sector.
