A commercial film to celebrate the Flag Carrier Airline’s 30th anniversary since the launch of their flights to Tokyo featuring Japan’s most famous sportspersons, was released to the Japanese audience.
Turkish Airlines is continuing to enrich its existence in Japan where it has operated flights for 30 years. The Flag Carrier Airline that celebrated its 30th anniversary in Tokyo, revealed the importance it gives to the country with a commercial film especially for Japan. The advertisement filmed especially for Japan, launched in Tokyo at a ceremony attended by Turkish Ambrassador to Tokyo Murat Mercan, Turkish Airlines SVP, Sales (II. Region) Kerem Sarp, Turkish Airlines SVP, Corporate Communications Seda Kalyoncu and around two hundred guests, features the country’s most popular sportsmen, Yuto Nagatomo who plays for Turkish Super League team Galatasaray, and famous professional golfer Hideto Tanihara.
Nagatomo that personally attended the ceremony, shared his views about Turkish Airlines and the new Istanbul Airport. Explaining that the Turkish people were extremely friendly towards the Japanese, the star footballer said he feels at home on the Turkish Airlines’ aircraft.
Nagatomo said: “Traveling with Turkish Airlines to more international destinations in the world in the comfort of my home is very important to me. Being able to rest while I’m traveling enables me to prepare better for matches. I get an unparalleled service in the imposing ambiance of the Istanbul Airport’s Business Class Lounge. I am so grateful for the cooperation materialized with Turkish Airlines, and the fabulous Turkish hospitality that I have personally experienced.”
While Turkish Airlines plans a frequency increase on its flights to Tokyo in April next year, it is also preparing to reopen the Osaka route.
