Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee M. İlker Aycı visited Darülaceze and gave a speech to its executives, employees, and guests.

Hosting nearly 600 guests (50 children between the ages of zero and three, and 545 adults) as a shelter for the solitary and the destitute since its foundation in 1895, Darülaceze welcomed Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee M. İlker Aycı at its monthly Darülaceze Meetings.
M. İlker Aycı made a speech at the meeting, which was well attended by representatives from politics, art, and sports, and stated that all airlines used similar technologies in global aviation but what really set Turkish Airlines apart from other brands is that it represents the values of its civilization.
Darülaceze President Hamza Cebeci thanked Turkish Airlines for accepting the invitation and said, “Turkish Airlines is a global brand. Just as Darülaceze connects us to the past and the elderly, Turkish Airlines connects us to the future and the changing world.”
Following the visit, Turkish Airlines welcomed a group of older residents at Darülaceze at Turkish Airlines Do&Co and Flight Training Directorate facilities as part of Senior Citizens' Week. Darülaceze residents experienced a flight in the Flight Training Directorate’s simulators as part of the TOSIDO event, toured the Bosphorus with the organization of Tour Istanbul, and finished this colorful day with a pleasant meal on the Historical Peninsula.
