Continuing to receive praise and awards from the global finance industry with its achievements in the field, Turkish Airlines welcomed 2019 with two new awards.

Continuing to receive praise and awards from the global finance industry with its financing models, Turkish Airlines received two new awards, increasing the number of international awards it has received in financing in the last decade to 23.
Thanks to its innovative and sophisticated model for the financing of the B777-F cargo aircraft, added to its fleet in November 2018, Turkish Airlines received the Lease Deal of the Year Award at the Airline Economics Global Aviation 100 Global Leaders Awards Ceremony held in Dublin on January 21. 
The second award was the Aircraft Tax Lease of the Year Award presented at the Global Transport Finance Awards Ceremony held in London on January 31.
Turkish Airlines Chief Financial Officer Murat Şeker commented on the awards by saying, “We’re delighted to strengthen our increasing success in aircraft finance, especially in recent years, with these awards. While we continue our effort to further improve this performance, which has been awarded many times, we are also proud to be accelerating the rising global reputation and brand value of Turkish Airlines.”
Turkish Airlines’ innovative and pioneering financing models, which have been in effect since 2008, have been awarded by world-renowned organizations such as Jane's Transport Finance, Global Transport Finance, Airline Economics, Airfinance Journal, and Bonds, Loans & Sukuk Turkey. The global carrier has won 23 international financing awards in the last decade for raising a total of 15 billion USD and achieving top success in this field.
