Having welcomed companies with an event and meeting budget of over 20 billion Turkish Liras in 2019, the event was attended by more than 200 buying managers from 41 countries in addition to more than 500 local professionals and over 15,000 visitors.
Held under the motto “Connecting Dots” the event’s section titled "Speakers’ Corners" focused on experiential marketing and experience design, destination marketing, event technologies, and e-sports. The brands’ directors of communication gathered at the Association of Corporate Communicators Panel while the Destination Marketing ICCA Panel brought together tourism authorities and congress agencies from destinations such as Russia, South Korea, Serbia, South Africa, and Abu Dhabi.
Turkish Airlines SVP of Domestic Sales Emre Menevşe gave a speech at the event, which was attended by over 200 buying managers from 41 countries and more than 500 local professionals, emphasizing that the airline brings millions of tourists to Turkey every year with its service quality. He restated that a new era began in Turkish aviation and tourism industry with Istanbul Airport and said that they will carry Turkey to its desired point in congress tourism.
The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) Chairman of the Board Firuz Bağlıkaya said, "We're confident that we will achieve our goals in 2019. In fact, the feedback from the fairs clearly shows that we will positively revise our goals as we did in 2018."
