Bringing together civil aviation authorities, the representatives of IATA, and the prominent names of the industry, the General Assembly of the Arab Air Carriers Organization was held in Cairo.

Visiting Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to attend the meeting of the Arab Air Carriers Organization, Turkish Airlines Deputy Chairman and CEO Bilal Ekşi stated that Turkish Airlines aims to increase the flight frequencies between Turkey and Egypt. Underlining that air traffic between the two countries gradually increases every year, Bilal Ekşi stated, “Istanbul is the most ideal transit hub for tourists traveling to or passengers flying from Egypt. Therefore, we’re experiencing the best times for aviation between Turkey and Egypt. Both Turkish Airlines and EgyptAir make a great effort to improve tourism between the two countries.”
