Welcome on board!
Turkey Grows Hand in Hand with Turkish Airlines
I’d like to announce that, after a challenging year for the civil aviation industry in 2016, Turkish Airlines has completed the first half of 2017 with profits. With our recently opened destinations including Conakry, Kharkiv, Voronezh, Samara and Phuket, we now flight to 300 cities in 120 countries. In addition to the number of passengers, which has been increasing since the early months of the year, we continue to gradually grow in cargo transportation as well. Compared to the previous year, Turkish Cargo increased its revenue by 24.4% and cargo amount by 26.1% in the first half of 2017, maintaining its position among the world’s fastest growing air cargo carriers.

Enjoy September by Traveling More
This month, I invite you to explore Istanbul, Zurich, Johannesburg, Rize (the city of highlands in the Black Sea), Sivas, the exquisite dishes of Van, and many other destinations in our flight network with the comfort of Turkish Airlines.
We Continue Our Innovations
We’re happy to present you with another innovation that will make your travel experience more comfortable, and it’s for families with babies. Exclusively prepared to meet the needs of babies aged 0-2 and their families, a special baby pack is offered to families who travel with their babies on cross-continental flights as of August.
We’re Carrying Kindness
As we ceaselessly continue to increase our service quality and your satisfaction, we’re also aware of our social responsibilities as the airline that flies to more countries than any other airline in the world. In this regard, in recent weeks, we delivered the second much-needed batch of 60-ton nutritional supplies to the children of Somalia, a country that fights tragic drought. We also delivered emergency provisions for the flood victims in Sierra Leone in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent.
I’d like to present you with the good news that we added African cities to our direct Hajj flights (operated from many corners of Turkey), and that we operated our first direct Hajj flight from Bamako Airport in Africa to Medina. I’d like to take this opportunity to express my wishes that the religious duties of Hajjis are all accepted, and to wish you all a Happy Eid al-Adha, that coincides with the early days of September.
Have a nice flight!
