Welcome Aboard

Date: Tuesday, 27 May 2014

Dear Guests,
Normally I share good news with you on this page. But unfortunately the terrible tragedy that occurred last month has deeply grieved us all. Our hearts, which ache at the thought of even one person losing his life, have been seared by the deaths of our workers in the mine disaster. Time stood still that day, and Soma remains in our hearts. Mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, wives and children have all suffered a bitter loss.  May Allah have mercy on our brothers who perished at Soma, and may their loved ones find peace of mind. Just as joy is multiplied by sharing, so is pain diminished. We are therefore going help bind up the wounds by extending a steadying hand to those households that have lost their pillar. Here at Turkish Airlines we will stand by the side of our brothers in Soma.
