Message of CEO

As we leave behind another year, let us time travel into the future. In our letter last month, we compared Turkish Airlines’ 80-year adventure to the childhood of an excited, enthusiastic and fairly active Anatolian child. Now, in this issue, we will look ahead and portray the child from Anatolia as grown into a lively young adult, representing the future of our company. This young person has the zeal and enthusiasm to embrace the whole world and organize flights to the most remote cities. As the end of the 21st century approaches, this young person will no longer be content with a Turkish Airlines that flies to every city in the world but will be gearing up to launch inter-planetary flights. We are the airline that flies to more countries than any other airline in the world today, and, God willing, we will also be a pioneer in the inter-planetary travel that we expect to realize by the end of the 21st century.
