Message of CEO

Welcome Aboard

Date: Friday, 01 November 2013

Dear Guests,
This year Turkish Airlines is celebrating its 80th anniversary. The story, which began in 1933, is like that of a child who was born and grew up in Anatolia. A child in whose soul is not timidity but confidence, a will to do better rather than bowing to existing conditions. That child is curious, outgoing and enthusiastic. As an Anatolian, it has absorbed both western and eastern cultures, internalizing the best of both. Although the land where that child was born is a vast steppe, the child is keen to scale the surrounding mountains and transcend them. It is with that same enthusiasm, excitement and eagerness that Turkish Airlines flies to 239 destinations today.
